That’s where our bespoke AI Sales Accelerator comes in.
Recently, we piloted a powerful AI tool for one of our clients that delivers actionable insights and recommendations directly into their sales team’s hands, all at a fraction of the cost of typical enterprise AI solutions. Built on Dynamics 365 and powered by Microsoft’s Power Platform, this tool harnesses the combined strengths of Power Automate, Google Search, and OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
What Does This AI Sales Accelerator Do?
Summarises Industry News and Insights: Our tool uses the Google Search API to constantly scan the latest industry updates, news articles, and emerging trends. These insights are then summarised and presented to sales teams, so they always know the bigger picture before going into a client meeting. No more manual searching through endless news feeds – the AI gathers, analyses, and delivers the relevant information.
Analyses Historical Business Data and Current Opportunities: Leveraging the power of Dynamics 365, the AI reviews the client’s business history, current opportunities, and ongoing deals. It summarises critical data points such as past purchasing trends, previous interactions, and deal status, saving the sales team valuable time on research and preparation.
Suggests Next Best Actions: By combining historical data with real-time industry insights, the AI models the current state of the business and suggests actionable next steps. Whether it’s following up on a warm lead, revisiting a past deal, or recommending new products based on trends, the AI provides clear guidance, driving a proactive sales strategy.

How Does It Work Under the Hood?
This AI tool integrates seamlessly with Dynamics 365, but its real power comes from behind the scenes. Here’s how we made it happen:
Power Automate is the backbone of the process, orchestrating calls to the Google Search API to fetch relevant content.
The results are fed into OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which distils the data into easy-to-digest summaries, ensuring sales reps get only the most valuable insights.
Updates are then automatically logged into the client’s account records in Dynamics 365, meaning the team always has the latest information at their fingertips.

So what did it actually cost?
To get the pilot version working was 3 days effort from our team - no doubt more will be needed over time, but this got things started. And the running costs? $5 in API calls for insights on the top 100 accounts.
