Let Me Tell You About My Business

Let me tell you a bit about how I work. My business is small – by design. Most of the work I deliver, I do myself. That means you get my full attention, my experience, and my standards on every project.

 

That said, I’m not shy about farming some things out. If a task is simple and well-defined, I’ll pass it to a lower-cost resource so you’re not paying premium rates for routine work. And if something is technically complex and outside my core expertise – say, connecting Dynamics to a payment gateway for online payments – I’ll bring in an expert. After all, no one can be an expert in everything, and I’d rather make sure the job is done right.​

How I make sure it works for you

​Because I carry a lot myself, I’m careful to build resilience into every project. That means:

  • Everything I do is thoroughly documented. If another Dynamics partner ever needs to pick things up, they’ll have what they need.

  • Ongoing support can be handled by any provider. I don’t create hidden dependencies or mysteries.

 

I’m immensely proud of the work I do, and when I work with you, my goal is that you’ll be completely satisfied. That’s why:

  • I’ll never lock you into a contract. If for any reason it’s not working (it hasn’t happened yet), I’d rather you feel comfortable moving on.

  • If I invoice you for a work package and it doesn’t do what we agreed, I don’t want you to pay. I’ll even write that into the contract.

What working together looks like

Typically, our journey looks like this:

  • Understand your business. I’ll spend time getting to know your world, your challenges, and your goals.

  • Define clear stages. We’ll agree on a series of key stages which, taken together, deliver exactly what you need.

  • Pilot and refine. For each stage, I’ll set up a working pilot version. You and I will test it, refine it, and ensure it’s providing the right value.

  • Deliver for immediate use. Once refined, I’ll deliver the finished version so you can start using it right away.

  • Support built in. I usually embed help and support directly into the platform, and provide training through simple “over-the-shoulder” video walkthroughs of common processes.

  • Microsoft environments set up. I’ll configure everything behind the scenes so that you can focus on getting on with your business.
